Exchange rates fluctuate constantly due to global trade, inflation, central bank policies, and geopolitical events. A rate that says '1 USD = 90 INR' means for every 1 US Dollar, you get 90 Indian Rupees. Our tool fetches live rates from a reliable open API, updating approximately once daily to ensure accuracy.
The converter supports 150+ currencies, from major ones like USD, EUR, GBP to exotic ones like Vietnamese Dong (VND) or Kuwaiti Dinar (KWD). It uses USD as the 'base currency' internally, converting your input to USD first, then to the target currency. This two-step method ensures precision across any pair of currencies.
Location awareness is built-in. The tool automatically detects your region (via your IP) and pre-selects your local currency as the 'To' field, saving you time. You can of course manually override this if needed.
1How to Use
